Syria and Belarus sign a MoU to cooperate in various fields
Syria and Belarus signed on Thursday a protocol to develop the legal framework for cooperation between both countries in various fields, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the exchange of expertise in the labor and social affairs fields
The protocol and the MoU were signed at the conclusion of the meetings of the 8th session of the Joint Governmental Committee for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation in Minsk
The protocol includes developing the legal framework for trade, economic, scientific, technical, investment, financial and banking cooperation, in addition to cooperation in the fields of industry, transport, health, education, housing and oil
The MoU provides for the exchange of experiences in the field of training workers in the social field, rehabilitation centers and various social services provided to the population
The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdellatif, who chaired the meetings on the Syrian side, stressed the importance of the protocol to enhance economic and trade relations between both countries and the need to start implementing it directly
