Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian and an accompanying delegation arrived on Saturday at Damascus International Airport
Foreign and Expatriates Minister Faysal Mikdad received the Iranian delegation upon its arrival
In a statement to Journalists, Mikdak described the visit of the Iranian delegation as “important”, noting that Syria supports the effort exerted by the Iranian Leadership in regard to the nuclear file, adding that Syria strongly condemns all US practices that seek to manipulate this file and other files in the region
For his part, The Iranian Minister expressed in a similar statement, his country’s keenness on the strategic relations with Syria
Abdullahian stressed that Iran will remain firmly by Syria’s side, as it stood by its side in facing the terrorist war against it
