Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet polar air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere
The weather will be partially cloudy to cloudy and rainy, and the rainfall will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, particularly in the coastal region, while snow will fall over the high mountains, according to the bulletin of the Meteorology Department
The wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts whose speed exceeds 70 km/h and it will be accompanied by dusty conditions in the eastern region, and the sea waves will be high to medium in amplitude
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 5/11, Daraa 7/14, Homs 6/13, Lattakia 11/15, Aleppo 2/12 and Deir Ezzor 4/16
