An army officer, one soldier martyred in attack by QSD militia on army checkpoint in Hasaka countryside

An army officer and a soldier were martyred on Tuesday in an attack by US occupation – backed QSD militiamen on a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army in Tal Tamer area in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka

A military source told SANA that at nearly 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a patrol of US occupation, accompanied by a group of QSD militiamen, attempted to enter through points of the Syrian army in Ghouzalya village of Tal Tamer countryside in Haska

“Members of the Syrian Arab army prevented the US occupation patrol from penetrating through the points and forced it to leave, later, QSD militiamen attacked the mentioned site with fires of machineguns and mortars, leading to the martyrdom of two soldiers, one of them was an officer,” the source added

It said that army units responded to the source of fires, injuring several militants of QSD militia
