Syrian students in Russia: Presidential elections’ entitlement is national right

Syrian students and Members of the Syrian community in Russia renewed on Thursday their determination to participate in the upcoming presidential elections

The students stressed in a meeting in the Syrian chancery in Moscow that the election day is a constitutional entitlement in which they will participate by using their right under the rules of the Constitution for the sake of Syria’s future, progress and prosperity after it has triumphed over international terrorism and its sponsors
They pointed out that Presidential elections’ entitlement constitutes a national right, expressing their solidarity with their families in the homeland, Syria

“Holding the constitutional elections and participating in it is a sincere expression of belonging to the homeland and foiling the enemy’s plots that target Syria, its people and its institutions,” Syrian Ambassador to Russia, Riad Haddad, said in a speech during the meeting

Ambassador Haddad called for national solidarity at this stage and participation in the presidential election
